Nicole was diagnosed with Stage IV (metastatic) colorectal cancer in 2020 at the age of 35. After two years of unsuccessful chemotherapy regimens, she was accepted into a clinical trial based on results of her colorectal cancer biomarker testing.
Nicole was generously sharing her experiences with clinical trials and colorectal cancer to encourage others to seek out biomarker testing and clinical trials. Sadly, Nicole’s cancer progressed despite targeted treatment, and she passed away in April 2023.
Nicole was committed to sharing her story, and spreading her message to just keep going. The Know Your Biomarker and GCCA team is so grateful to Nicole and she will be missed.
